Your appearance and notable work in television serial like that of Bharat Ek Khoj on Doordarshan is still missed. You left your mark internationally too when you worked in British films which made every Indian proud. When you were awarded Padma Shri in 1990, India’s fourth highest civilian award and made an honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2004, that made all of us believe that how one person could hold a whole era with him.
